Not bad

Good flavours, plenty of filling; but the rest of the range has raised the bar higher than this.

The Medi Calzone

This was an OK calzone. It had plenty of vegetables but I wasn't keen on the whole olives, these would have been better chopped. Also being more vegetable based it makes the calzone more wet and requires longer cooking for it to crisp up. As with all the calzones I cook them upside down for 8-10 minutes then turn them for the remaining time which avoids a soggy bottom.

A nice idea but sadly lacking

This should have been one of my favourites but sadly it didn't live up to expectatios, mainly because of the distribution and amount of filling. It was lovely and moist but most of the vegetables were poorly distributed, with just one of two thick slices of courgettes and one cherry tomato halved. There was also far too little goats cheese, making it rather poor value, especially when compared to the meat options. The only plentiful filler was the olives, which I found overpowering. This could potentially be a good calzone if the vegetables were more evenly distributed by slicing the courgette more thinly, doubling the amount of tomatoes, halving the amount of olives and slicing them and significantly increasing the amount of goats cheese.

Not for me

None of the family like these calzones there was to much texture but without the taste .

Nice enough but no real zing

It was ok but I wouldn’t order again
